Purpose/Objectives
The Community Outreach Volunteer will be working closely with the community outreach workers under the supervision of the social worker(s) to ensure reaching out to the most vulnerable groups and build strong relation with the targeted communities. He/she will support the implementation of the outreach activities and PSS activities inside and outside the community center, targeting children, parents and girls/women.



Responsibilities/duties:

· Identification and referral of persons with specific needs and protection concerns to relevant services (internal and external referral).
· Identify community risks at community level: collect information and provide to protection team on relevant protection issues in their area.





Qualification/level requirements
Minimum requirements


· High school Diploma
· Knowledge of psycho-social programming in the humanitarian context, with prior volunteering experience in conducting protection activities at community level
· Good interpersonal skills





Other requirements:

· Native Arabic – basic knowledge of written and spoken English.
· Strong team spirit, comfortable in a multi-cultural environment
· Excellent observation and analytical skills and capacity
· Able to ensure quick quality delivery in stressful environment
· Practical and problem-solver
